Building on Blockchain

Thursday 6th December 2018

Distributed ledger technology and blockchain will underpin the operational backbone of every forward-thinking business across all sectors, within a few short years.

There are already many potential applications of DLT In the banking and financial services industry and it is widely recognised that these will be pivotal to the delivery of whole transformation agendas for financial institutions, creating massive efficiency gains and cost savings along the way. Blockchain is now moving beyond mere talk…but only just! So, what are the early use cases and emerging technologies that are reshaping the landscape for finance? What are the quick wins and where are the longer term plays?

Building on Blockchain 2018 promises to shine a light on bona fide early applications of DLT across banking, insurance and capital markets including case studies on trade finance, ID/KYC, smart contracts, remittances, policy writing, payments, trading and more.
