Exhibitor Spotlight: Heritage Vault Limited — Closing the Wealth Transfer Gap Through Digital Legacy Planning
Company Name: Heritage Vault Limited
What does your company do in one sentence?
Heritage Vault is a secure digital platform that helps people organise, protect, and pass on everything that matters — so when the worst happens, everything is exactly where it needs to be.
Why did you decide to exhibit at FinTech Connect?
FinTech Connect brings together exactly the people who need to hear what we're building — insurers, asset managers, advisers, and banks who are all sitting on the same untapped opportunity: the wealth transfer gap. We're at a pivotal moment for Heritage Vault. We've built the platform, achieved SOC 2 Type II certification, and we're ready to scale through enterprise partnerships. FinTech Connect is where those conversations happen with decision-makers who understand that the next competitive frontier in financial services isn't just better returns or lower fees, but deeper, more human client relationships.
What's the biggest opportunity you see for financial services over the next 3 years?
The great wealth transfer — and the firms that are ready for it. An estimated $84 trillion will transfer between generations over the next two decades, and most financial services firms are completely unprepared. When a client dies, documents are missing, beneficiaries are unreachable, policies go unclaimed, and families are left in chaos at their worst moment. The biggest opportunity isn't a new product; it's a new kind of relationship that extends beyond the transaction and into the full lifecycle of a client's financial life.
What challenge are you helping financial institutions solve?
We help financial institutions solve the challenge hiding in plain sight: what happens to their clients when something goes wrong. When events occur, policies often go unclaimed and beneficiary details are outdated. Heritage Vault closes that gap by ensuring the right documents, the right people, and the right access are aligned. This results in faster claims, fewer disputes, and less compliance exposure, while turning a moment of loss into a moment of clarity.
What's one thing the industry often gets wrong?
Treating clients as transactions, not relationships. Financial services firms spend billions acquiring clients and almost nothing on keeping them genuinely connected between products. The industry optimises for the sale, not the relationship. The firms winning the next decade understand that loyalty isn't built at the point of purchase — it's built in every moment in between.
If you could give the industry one piece of advice, what would it be?
Stop competing on price and start competing on purpose. Every firm in this industry is fighting for the same clients with marginally better rates, slightly lower fees, and incrementally shinier apps. The firms that will define the next decade aren't asking "how do we acquire more customers?" They're asking "how do we become genuinely irreplaceable in our clients' lives?" Clients don't remember the interest rate you offered them years ago; they remember whether you were there when it mattered.
What industry trend are you watching most closely in 2026?
Two connected trends: the shift from product to platform, and trust as the new currency. The most forward-thinking institutions are asking what ecosystem they can build around their clients' lives. At the same time, in an era of AI-generated content, data breaches, and digital fatigue, clients are becoming increasingly selective about who they trust with sensitive information. Institutions that earn and protect that trust won't need to compete on price.
What's something your team is particularly excited about right now?
We're at the point where conversations with financial services firms are shifting from "what is this?" to "how do we make this work together?" Seeing institutions light up when they understand what Heritage Vault means for their clients, their retention, and their brand brings an incredible energy to the team. We are not just building a product anymore — we are building an ecosystem.

What's a book, podcast, or resource you'd recommend to anyone working in fintech?
"The Psychology of Money" by Morgan Housel. Housel's core argument — that financial decisions are driven by emotion, experience, and fear far more than logic — is exactly why Heritage Vault exists. People don't fail to plan their estate because they don't know they should; they do it because no one has made it easy, human, and non-threatening enough.
