I thrive in complex and highly regulated environments. Promoting innovation at every opportunity, I relish change, creating business efficiencies and improving performance.
In my previous roles I was a senior relationship Bank manager working with both SME’s, Corporates and many charities specifically focusing on the customer proposition. Whilst at Bacs I shaped the future of the UK’s retail payment products Bacs Direct Debit and Direct Credit and developed and operated the UK’s switching services CASS and Cash ISA ensuring that end users can get greater choice from financial service providers.
In this changing environment I believe that it is more important than ever to ensure that the underserved within the ecosystem particularly those that are financially vulnerable are supported to achieve financial well-being.
To do this and in conjunction with the Emerging Payments Association (EPA) and other far sighted individuals and organisations we are taking positive action and have formed a new charity called the Inclusion Foundation of which I am the CEO. The Inclusion Foundation will enable customer choice not only from the incumbent providers but also from the vast range of new products being launched into the market. By providing secure, clear and trusted advice for tailored to their specific needs enabling them to make an informed choice across a wide range of products.
On a personal basis I am also an advocate of promoting diversity and lead the Emerging Payments Association Women in PayTech project. Last month I won the coveted Contributor of the Year Award and I have been shortlisted for several other Industry awards.
