Tanvi Gokhale

Director of Segmentation, Retail Lloyds Banking Group

Tanvi Gokhale is the Director of Segmentation within the Retail Division, a role she has held since September 2018. With a wealth of experience in Strategy and Commercial roles, Tanvi now leads the direction and delivery of the Group Customer Segmentation Strategy, working with teams from across the business and Transformation to design and implement tailored propositions which have been developed to meet the specific needs of Group 1 priority segment customers. 

Previous to her current role, Tanvi held a variety of positions across various divisions within LBG, her most recent being Customer and Colleague Experience Director for Community Banking; a role in which she led the customer insight and regulatory agenda, transformed colleagues’ roles to meet more complex customer needs and evolved the operating model.

Her roles prior to this include Commercial Director for Connect, Retail Strategy Director, Consumer Finance Strategy Director, Wealth and International Strategy Director as well as Head of Strategy for International Banking. 

Outside of her direct role, Tanvi is actively involved with LBG organisations Breakthrough and REACH, championing the inclusivity of females and cultural diversity in the workplace. In her work with these groups, Tanvi has been involved in a variety of activities and campaigns, holding the position of Ethnicity Sponsor, and participating in talks such as Footprints in the Snow, writing blog posts to share her perspectives and helping introduce younger generations to the world of Banking through internships.

Prior to LBG, Tanvi was at Booz & Co (Strategy&), a global strategy consulting firm, where she worked primarily with clients in financial services in the UK, Europe and US. She was also Chair of the Booz Women's Network and the London Client Action Forum.

Tanvi has a degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, on the accelerated one year programme. She has lived in and travelled to many countries - growing up across three continents in addition to project work and leisure travel to over 30 countries. Tanvi lives with her husband Rahul and two daughters, Annika and Serena, in Middlesex.
