Sam joined Starling Bank in 2016 to lead a group of engineers building a new core banking system running entirely in the cloud. After 10 years replacing legacy systems in large financial institutions, he is now the Head of Engineering responsible for the delivery of the Starling mobile applications, Open Banking APIs and Marketplace.
