Adam Pettman is Head of AI & Innovation at 2i, a UK consultancy specialising in quality assurance. He leads the firm’s work on applying AI responsibly in highly regulated sectors, helping public and private organisations adopt emerging technologies with confidence.  

Adam created AssureAI, a framework that tests AI systems for accuracy, performance, explainability and robustness.

He also pioneered 2i’s Synthetic Data offering, enabling clients to generate secure, privacy-preserving datasets for testing and innovation. His work is focused on bridging the gap between AI ambition and operational reliability.  

Drawing on experience advising government departments, financial services, and utilities, Adam is passionate about ensuring AI adoption is both innovative and trustworthy. He regularly speaks on topics including AI assurance, synthetic data, and the practical steps fintech organisations can take to deliver compliant, high-quality AI solutions.
