Chris is a Global Director at Microsoft, leading Financial Services Regulatory Strategy & Policy. He works closely with regulators and financial institutions globally on operational resilience, cyber security, third-party risk and AI regulation, helping bridge the gap between regulatory expectations and how technology is actually delivered in practice. Prior to Microsoft, Chris was a supervisor at the Prudential Regulation Authority, where he focused on operational resilience and cloud outsourcing across banking, insurance and investment firms. He has also worked within both first and second lines of defence roles, and began his career at KPMG in London. Chris brings a rare combination of regulatory, industry and technology provider experience, and a practical perspective on how financial regulation, risk management and emerging technologies intersect in real-world firms.
