Gary uses his experience in the industry to develop the strategic focus of BNP Paribas with regards to the banks and brokers segment across our global business and to help our clients review their own strategy in the frame of the ongoing change that is being seen in terms of operating models, business priorities, technology and market footprint. Alongside this, he leads the Financial Intermediaries Client Line in the UK, ensuring services like custody, clearing, debt solutions and cash offerings for clients booked in the UK are fit for purpose and help our clients reach their objectives.

Having worked in a number of roles across our organization, Gary recognizes the need for continuous review and forward thinking solutions that help our clients meet their needs but also those of their customers. This has allowed him to become a spokesperson within the industry across a number of topics that will continue to shape our business for the foreseeable future.

Gary has worked for BNP Paribas for over 20 years across a number of different locations and regions. For his first six years with the bank, he held operational roles dealing with daily processing tasks, which has allowed him to develop a client-centric mindset before moving to look after BNP Paribas’ clearing and custody solutions across Asia Pacific ahead of his current appointment covering the global strategy for the evolution of the solutions we can bring to our bank and broker client base, based in London.

Gary has experience working on transformational projects; including setting up the bank branch of BNP Paribas Securities Services in Australia and designing new solutions for brokers and other market participants in different markets across the region.
