A regular speaker at data-led events, providing insights and sharing her experience as a qualified DAMA Associate and Data Governance practitioner. Joanne joined the Global Technology function at Schroders as the Head of Data Governance within the Enterprise Data Team in July 2024, moving into their newly created Schroders Data Office in Jan 2025. With over 20 years of experience in the Finance Industry, Joanne has been focusing on Data Governance since 2016, specialising in creating and leading organisation-wide Data Governance strategies. With a proven track record of establishing standardised and federated Data Governance to achieve data assurance and quality, Joanne works collaboratively with both business and technical teams as a non-technical specialist. Passionate about the promotion of non-invasive Data Governance to leverage data as a valuable asset, Joanne's mission is to help organisations and their clients achieve their full potential through effective and efficient data governance practices.
