Luke Wingfield-Digby is the Co-Founder and Head of Corporate Development at Orbital, an award-winning global payment orchestration platform delivering secure, seamless and compliant stablecoin and traditional payments for businesses. Since co-founding Orbital in 2017, Luke has helped shape the company's vision. Today, Orbital handles $12 billion in payments annually, providing corporates with a single payment platform for traditional and digital assets. Luke is well-equipped to offer critical insights into how innovations in the payments sector are reshaping global business, and how stablecoins, with their transformative potential in cross-border payments and emerging markets, are driving this change. He also leads Orbital's Stablecoin Payments Index, which analyses retail-sized (<$10k) transactions to provide visibility into real-world adoption across tokens, blockchains, wallets, and regional FX markets. Using a proprietary methodology that filters out speculative activity, the Index offers one of the most comprehensive views of how stablecoins are actually being used in retail payment contexts. As well as being an expert in the payments field, Luke has been a serial tech entrepreneur with over two decades of experience in the technology sector, where he has gained deep sector knowledge across transaction banking, online payments, and digital assets. Further to being Co-Founder, Luke has held various leadership roles at Orbital, including Chief Innovation Officer and Chief Commercial Officer, driving growth initiatives for the company.
