Martin Cook is a Partner at the independent UK law firm Burges Salmon, where he leads the FinTech and Financial Services teams. He advises a broad spectrum of clients—from fintech start-ups and scale-ups to wealth platforms and global banking institutions—on technology-driven and strategic initiatives, including outsourcing, international expansion, product development, regulatory compliance, and risk management. Martin is regularly invited to contribute to industry and innovation forums, including appointments to UK government bodies and sector-led initiatives such as the UK Financial Markets Law Committee’s FinTech working group and the Centre for Finance, Innovation and Technology.
