Sarah is an experienced non-executive director and chair, with board experience in Strategic Financial Management, Technology Innovation, ESG & Sustainability, Corporate Governance and Inclusion.    Sarah started her career as a systems engineer in the financial sector, before transitioning to Finance and held the position of President of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) in 2023/24, expanding her global credibility and influence.  Throughout her career Sarah has advised across multiple industries, with a focus on finance and digital transformation.   She continues to provide strategic insight on the potential of frontier technologies in delivering sustainable growth, long-term value creation and resilience.   Sarah has also supported FinTech start-ups as a mentor, sharing her experience to help them grow faster and with financial credibility.  Sarah currently works in the Civil Service and is a member of the UK Government’s Quantum Group which supports the UK’s National Quantum Strategy.  By increasing awareness across departments and the quantum ecosystem, it seeks to identify and support viable use cases that have the potential to increase productivity and improve service delivery, whilst supporting the ambition to create a national and international regulatory framework.
