Wasim Mushtaq

Wasim Mushtaq is the Founder of 1CG, a strategic delivery partner helping fintech and financial services leaders improve commercial outcomes by increasing revenue, reducing cost and accelerating critical execution. He has over 20 years’ experience across banking, fintech and industry transformation, with leadership roles spanning RBS, Barclays and Standard Chartered, where he led global transformation across 45 markets. Most recently, he served as founding COO of CFIT, helping build the organisation and advance industry collaboration across the UK financial services ecosystem. Wasim is also a Strategic Partner to Birdie and Advisory Board Member at BankAbility. He holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Glasgow and executive certificates from Oxford Saïd Business School and MIT Sloan.
